Download our FREE Festival App

To get the latest information about the festival, we are pleased to announce we've updated our very own iPhone and Android app which is available as a FREE DOWNLOAD from the App Store through iTunes and through Google Play for the Android version.

As well as a comprehensive list of the line-up at the festival, it is, of course immediately brought up to date, so any late changes to timing, stages or artists can be brought to you personally on the day.

Featuring a section on the artists themselves, the app also has a 'TV-style' guide to show you what’s on each stage and at what time, so you can plan your day around your favourites and not miss anything.

Designed and developed by our principal festival sponsor First Option Software, the app is part of a series of festival apps being rolled out nationally. More information from

Blues Jam – Play live with us!

Blues Jam – Play live with us!

Ever wanted to play or sing live on stage at festival? Well now you can, simply join us on our very own blues jam stage in the 'St. James Tavern Tent' from 17.00-20.00.

The Blues Jam is a very simple concept. Anyone who wants to play can do so if they make a donation to one of our charities. Pay a minimum £5 donation to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (who will have a stall in the tent if you need any further information) and join in. Once you’ve made your donation, your name will go onto a list which will be split into specific talents i.e. singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers and keyboardists.

Your comperé (Ali Hamilton) will then randomly select people who will then be invited to make up a temporary ‘band’ consisting of a guitarist, drummer, singer, etc. Then you get to go onstage to perform three blues style songs together. The songs can be original or covers but MUST be in a 12 bar blues format, with the singer deciding the key and the tempo. Solos/guitar breaks are to be split evenly between players who wish to play a solo. Once the three songs are complete (and the thunderous applause has died down), another random band is called out and the process begins again.

Please keep an eye on the auction web site to see what sellers have posted, then come along to the festival to bid as more instruments may turn up on the day.

2017 Headliners Announced

2017 Headliners Announced

Molotov Jukebox are world-renowned party purveyors of contemporary world music and we will be welcoming them to Arlebury Park on 10th June as our 2017 headline band.

Fronted by Natalia Tena (who you may recognise from Harry Potter and Game of Thrones), Molotov Jukebox is arguably the highest profile act the festival has signed as headliners. Fusing an unrivalled onstage presence with the sunny sounds of carnivals from around the world, the band is an explosion of colour and energy, mixing violins, accordions, vocals and rhythm in a mixture of ska, latino, soul, funk and other jump-up styles. Molotov Jukebox fans are also fond of describing the band as ‘gyp-step’ (a mix of dubstep and gypsy styles).

They offer an unmissable live performance and are famed for their high-energy performances around the globe from the Avalon stage at Glastonbury to performances at Wilderness, Boomtown, Cambridge Folk Festival, Blissfields and Womad as well as sets at Vive Latino in Mexico, Eurosonic in Holland and Iboga Festival in Spain.

Our extended layout means more for everyone: five stages of live music, including a Blues Jam Tent and ‘The Globe’ Theatre Tent, plus a packed festival village, a huge choice of local and international food stalls. The Ringwood Fine Ale bar is back, plus more cocktail and cider bars than ever will be quenching thirsts.

2016 Alresford Music Festival Review

2016 Alresford Music Festival Review

On Saturday 11th June over 3,500 festival revellers were welcomed into Arlebury Park for the seventh Alresford Music Festival. That’s around 300 more people than the previous year and they came to see over 25 bands and to enjoy a day full of chilled fun, free family entertainment and of course amazing music, which this year was more diverse than ever.

The increased numbers has meant even more money has been raised for charity and worthwhile causes; £2,000 has already been donated to Winnall Rock School and £3,000 to Key Changes Music Therapy

There’s been loads of fantastic feedback from so many which is always appreciated. Festival goers, campers and artists alike really loved the whole day’s vibe; the relaxed and happy atmosphere, the bigger space, the increased amount of FREE things to do in the dedicated family arena, the extended festival village and of course - the amazing bands and artists. It was an infectious mix, which embodied the AMF spirit of a family ‘party in the park’, but with exceptional and varied music across four different stages.
